Arbitration/Mediation - These alternative dispute resolution methods are great ways to help your business avoid a lengthy and expensive trial. BCLS assists the businesses in our community by representing them through arbitration/mediation proceedings and enforcing arbitration agreements, or by appointing arbitrators and mediators to hear and decide a dispute.
Business Entity Formation - We assist local businesses on the appropriate business structure, drafting and filing formation documents, registering for tax and regulatory requirements, and preparing governance documents, such as bylaws or operating agreements.
Compliance - We assist businesses by providing guidance on state and federal laws and regulations, as well as ongoing maintenance of your business by preparing annual reports and maintaining corporate records.
Contracts - We provide a range of services with regard to business contracts, including but not limited to drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts. We also provide guidance on the appropriate terms and provisions to include in the contract, such as payment and delivery terms, warranties, liability limitations, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
Partnership Agreements - BCLS advises clients on the terms of partnership agreements regarding issues such as ownership, management structure, profit and loss sharing, decision-making processes, dispute resolution mechanisms, and dissolution provisions. We can also assist you in the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of an agreement.
